Covid-19 was undoubtedly a difficult time in New York City. This series reflects on the nostalgia many people felt about not being able to go to their favorite places in the city to meet with friends and loved ones. The series was created to remember a few of my treasured places and capture the longing that I and many people felt during the pandemic. The drawings are composed of watercolor, colored pencil, and pen, on translucent Yupo 5”x7” paper.
